From the 26th of February to the 3rd of March the internal mentors (Alexandra Posza, Petra Putzer, Péter Fodor) and the external mentor (Imre Fodor) of Simonyi BEDC visited Kalajoki to join in the „Transnational Innovation Camp” (TransInnCamp) supported by Erasmus+ Youth In Action program, where they showed the basics of business and entrepreneurship for instance the business canvas model for potential young entrepreneurs between the age of 16-30. The camps are organised by the Finnish Keskipiste-Leader, the Latvian Zied Zeme Leader, the „Bogátalji Mozgalom” and the Hungarian Mecsekvidék Leader with the Finnish Rieska-LEADER in the lead.
The international groups were formed by five members from Finland, Latvia, Transylvania and Hungary. The youngsters had got very intensive lectures connected to the parts of the business canvas model. After this torment and the ideation they created the business model of the final idea with the mentors’ help. The teams worked very hard during the days and finally the four groups presented their ideas on a press conference, many regional mediums reported about the event.
This TransInnCamp was not the only one, each country is going to organize one camp. The next TransInnCamp will be in Orfű during the summer.
